Hi Community!

Happy new year! and first of all thanks heaps for having such great resources available for all of us.

Q1) I am starting my journey of passive investing in Australia with ETFs and wanted to ask if VDHG would be the right choice for long term investing. I noticed this was mentioned quite a lot in the podcast. Does VDHG ETF provide dividends?

Q2) I have started with Stake but as Stake doesnt provide auto investing option on their platform, does it make sense that I manually purchase the same ETF each month?

Thanks a lot for your advice.

Hi guys,

I’ve been investing through superhero and comsec for the past 4 years now.

I previously used vanguard in the uk.

So multi faceted question here -

When moving back to the uk

Am I to keep using the Australian platforms to invest ?

Is there a way of consolidating and moving everything to one broker that works internationally?

So much conflicting information online I’m

Really not sure how to go about it .

Any advice or experience shared is much appreciated.

Thankyou!

Hi Community,

I have a really basic question that I would love some clarification on. So firstly when you buy a stock (not an IPO) none of that money goes to the company hey? it goes to the person that sold the stock?.. so is the only time a company gets an increase in capital from the sale of stock the IPO release?.. or the release of more shares in the future? (whats the term for that?)

Sorry for the real basic question

Cheers

Sam
